We support local education through grants, sponsorships and programs designed to give students opportunities to learn and develop positive financial habits they can carry throughout their lives.

Our financial education efforts also extend beyond the classroom, helping people build practical skills around budgeting, saving, managing debt, and making informed financial decisions.

Working Together for Stronger Communities

Local organizations know their communities best. We partner with schools, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, chambers of commerce, and other community groups to support initiatives that address local needs and create lasting connections.

In addition, the organization partners with several local community organizations, including the Big Read, Young Entrepreneurs Academy, U of M – Dearborn, and other area universities, and The Henry Ford Museum. Our engagement with local chambers of commerce around the state helps us impact the small businesses in our branch communities.

Building Confidence Through Financial Education

Financial education can help people make more informed decisions at every stage of life. Through programs such as Banzai, workshops and other educational resources, we bring practical financial learning to students, members, and communities.

Our financial education resources include articles, webinars, calculators, and more. We provide learning around topics including budgeting, credit, loans, online banking, fraud, security, and more.
