About Us
Helping members succeed, one dream at a time.
We’re here to help you thrive.
Who we are and what we do.
We got our start in 1922, during the early days of America’s credit union movement as a telephone workers credit union. Since then, we’ve earned the trust of thousands of members in Massachusetts and Rhode Island by offering long-term dependability, sound advice, great local service, and quality financial products to help each member build a bright financial future.
In 2021, we changed our name from Southern Mass Credit Union to Alltrust Credit Union to reflect our focus on being a trusted financial partner for all our members, at every stage of life. Our name may be different, but our commitment to helping our neighbors succeed is just as strong as ever.
As a not-for-profit credit union, we exist to support members – not shareholders. That translates to lower loan rates and higher savings rates than you’ll find at the average bank. We can help you:
Save more
money
Buy a car
or home
Pay for home improvements, college, and more

We’re proud to help generations of members build brighter financial futures, and we’re excited to see what the next year holds.
Giving back to our communities.
As a community credit union, lending a helping hand to our neighbors is an important part of what we do. We’re pleased to participate in and support a variety of local events and organizations and to provide annual scholarships to deserving local high school students.
